Myasishchev Vladimir Mikhailovich - (15) 28/09/1902 G., Efremov, Tula oblast (province) - 14/10/1978, buried in Moscow, the New Maiden Cemetery. Myasishchev V.M. - Soviet aircraft designer, chief designer (1956), Major-General Engineer (1944), Hero of Socialist Labor (1957), the Lenin Prize (1957), Ph.D. (1959), Professor (1947), Honored Science and Technology (1972).

After graduating from Bauman them. Bauman (1926) worked at TsAGI. prof. NE Zhukovsky in KB A.N. Tupolev (Brigade V.M. Petlyakova), participated in the creation of TB-1 TB-3, ANT-20 Maxim Gorky. In 1934 he was appointed head of the brigade Myasishchev experimental aircraft. It was created torpedo bomber ANT-41 (T-1).

In 1936, on secondment to the U.S. refineries, "Douglas", after returning supervised processing of documentation for implementation in the production of licensed aircraft DC-3. When I build an aircraft factory number 84 in Khimki had mastered advanced lofting a template method, and then embedded in all the Soviet aircraft plants. The aircraft, first known as PS-84, then after his arrest Myasishcheva in 1938, Li-2. Since that time he worked in the CDB-29 of the NKVD (the so-called "sharaga") in the department as a repressed, V.M. Petlyakova under the overall supervision AN Tupolev. In CDB-29 V.M. Myasishchev independently developed his first project - the long-range high-altitude bomber DVB-102. In 1940, after liberation, led by the construction of an aircraft factory number 22 in Fili.

When the war began in 1941 team, headed by V.M. Myasishchev, was evacuated to Omsk with EDB, AN Tupolev, DL Tomasevic and others here in 1942 Myasishcheva aircraft took to the skies. It was the first domestic airline with sealed cabins, remote control small arms and cannon armament, landing gear with nose wheel. For the creation of DHS-102 Myasishchev received the thanks of Stalin and a cash prize, transferred to the Fund-range aviation. In 1943, after the death of V.M. Petlyakova in a plane crash, V.M. Myasishchev sent to Kazan to petlyakovsky Plant № 22 (evacuated from Moscow). The main task - to restore the performance characteristics of serial dive bomber Pe-2. As soon as possible Myasishchev able to modify the Pe-2 and provide increased speed of the aircraft at 50 km / hr. At the same time under his leadership, has developed several different modifications of the Pe-2 and created a virtually new aircraft with flight speed equal to the speed of flight of German fighters. Myasishchev left behind an aircraft former name, adding only the letter "I".

In 1945, V.M. Myasishchev was appointed director and chief designer of the Moscow factory number 482, Kazan CB becomes a branch. During this period he developed high-altitude bombers: a twin DVB-102 and four-engine Flying Fortress DVB-202 DVB-302, a distant escort fighter Dis. The next step is design turbojet bomber RB-17 with 4 engines.

In early 1946 KB V.M. Myasishchev close, and very direct teaching in the MAI them. Ordzhonikidze, where he became dean of the Faculty of Aircraft and chair of the design and the design of aircraft.

March 24, 1951 Myasishchev appointed chief designer of OKB-23 in Fili. Here he has to re-create a working team of designers. After only 22 months of taking off the first Soviet turbojet bomber M-4, in 1956 - the next plane 3M. At the same time pilots EDO V.M. Myasishchev work out refueling in the air "rod-cone" which has become a major aviation world. At the same time at OKB-23 drafted a three-stage rocket system "Buran" (Topic 40). On the basis of "Buran V.M. Myasishchev creates a manned moon project and the first domestic double winged spaceplane (Topic 48). In 1959, flies supersonic strategic missile-carrying M-50, based on 3M's aircraft modification has created missile 3MD.

In 1960, the chief designer V.M. Myasishchev appointed head of TsAGI, where he forms a new structure of the institute.

June 8, 1967 Myasishchev the last time back to the design work, becoming a responsible leader of the Experimental Machine Building Plant. Initially, the basic structure created by EMS was a LIiDB myasischevskogo OKB-23. During these years under the guidance of V.M. Myasishchev created a project high-altitude subsonic aircraft M-17 "Stratosphere" (interceptor drifting balloon), a modification which will be "Vysotnik" M-55 "Geophysics". Under the theme of "cold" on the EMS worked through a schematic diagram of air-space plane. It is with the inclusion of EMS in the NPO Molniya in 1976 and formed the basis of aerodynamic configuration of the future "Buran".

Using a proven aircraft 3M, worked through a draft transporter, later called Vladimir Myasishchev - Transport (VM-T Atlant). This aircraft has provided startup videoconferencing "Buran", delivered to Baikonur and the support of "Energy" and the spaceplane "Buran". At the same time on the EMS module creates a sealed cabin "Burana" with the life-support systems and emergency escape (similar system to the "Shuttle" is not), conducted flight tests of the BPS - the analog video conferencing "Buran" with additional engines.

At myasischevskih aircraft M-4 and 3M, 19 world records on the aircraft M-17 and M-55, respectively, 25 and 16 world records.

V.M. Myasishchev awarded three Orders of Lenin (1945, 1957, 1962 years), Order of Suvorov II degree (1944), the Order of the October Revolution (1971), and medals.

In 1981, the name of the V.M. Myasishchev awarded EMS.

Cities: Moscow, Efremov, Zhukovsky, a street named after V.M. Myasishchev.
